Quarterly Coordinator Committee
The Quarterly Coordinator Committee does not dictate how Quarterly Host Districts plan their Quarterly. The Quarterly Coordinator Committee communicates current and standard practices, quarterly planning information or makes suggestions based on personal experience or that of past quarterlies. Composition:
Committee consists of three members, the committee chair, the secretary/treasurer and one at large member.
Scope:
The Quarterly Coordinator Committee will be responsible for procuring hotel contracts for the Area 15 Quarterly Assemblies. The hotel locations eligible will be those meeting the Area 15 Quarterly Assembly meeting space and guest room requirements. Hotel contracts will be procured for a 2 year cycle consisting of at least 3 rotating hotel locations spread throughout Area 15. The Quarterly Coordinators Committee will present their recommendation for approval in October of each odd year.
The committee is also responsible for assisting host districts with putting on the quarterlies. They will provide historical data from past quarterlies to hosting districts. They will keep the Area committee advised of any changes. The committee reviews the hosting district’s agenda and program prior to translation and publication in accordance with Area 15 Current Practices.
Procedure:
Committee meetings consist of the immediate past, present and next future quarterly reports from the hosting districts and give a report at the Sunday business meeting.
