Hybrid Meeting Information (en español)

Please review this page and the linked documents before entering hybrid assembly meetings via Zoom.

Meetings with virtual attendance

  • Saturday, April 11, 4:00 p.m. Delegate’s Conference Agenda Review pt.1
  • Sunday, April 12 9:00 a.m. Area 15 Business Meeting
  • Sunday, April 12, after business meeting, Delegate’s Conference Agenda Review pt.2

Who can attend virtually

  • Members of Alcoholics Anonymous who are not in the meeting room are welcome to join using the Zoom app.
  • In-person attendees may use the meeting’s telephone dial-in numbers to improve audio accessibility (using their cellular signal, not meeting room wifi).

We ask that in-person attendees not join using the Zoom app for the following reasons:

  • In-person wi-fi bandwidth is limited.
  • Dual attendance (in-person and virtual) can lead to severe audio feedback.
  • Dual attendance causes confusion regarding the vote count.

Registration

If you are attending in-person please register at the registration table.

If you are attending virtually please register in advance at this link.

  • Registering helps us with renaming, check-in and providing timely vote counts.
  • Failure to register before joining, or joining at the last minute, might result in delays being admitted to the meeting and could delay other participants as well.

Participation

  • Review the Hybrid Meeting Participation Guide before the meeting.
  • Sign in 30 minutes early (as we expect in-person) to facilitate timely check in, vote count, and admittance to the meeting.
  • Zoom sign-in information is available on the Virtual Meetings page.

In-Person Audio Accessibility

  • Please register in advance for attendance on Zoom as it will help with check-in and renaming.
    • In the form, select English, then Audio Access for Accessibility, then continue with your information.
  • In-person, please use the dial-in number, not the zoom app and please use your own cell signal to dial in. We need hotel wi-fi bandwidth for Zoom hosts and accessing files through our QR codes.

Suggestions:

  • Make sure your cell phone and headphones/hearing aids are fully charged.
  • If you go to the microphone, reduce the volume of your hearing device to avoid feedback.
  • Attend the Accessibilities Committee meeting Saturday morning for more information.

¿Quién puede asistir virtualmente?

  • Los miembros de Alcohólicos Anónimos que no se encuentren en la sala de reuniones pueden unirse a través de la aplicación Zoom.
  • Los asistentes presenciales pueden utilizar los números de teléfono de la reunión para mejorar la calidad del audio (utilizando la señal de su móvil, en lugar de la red wifi de la sala de reuniones).
